Monday should reach the upper 70s, with a 30% chance of showers and storms developing around midday. Overnight lows will dip into the mid-50s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday looks similar, with highs in the low 80s and a 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms developing later in the day. Storm chances increase slightly Wednesday<\/strong>, with partly sunny skies and a 50% chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.<\/p>\n<p>Despite recent moisture, most of Boulder County remains in severe drought, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor.<\/p>\n<h3>Boulder to unveil final plans for Primos Park<\/h3>\n<p>The City of Boulder will host an open house this weekend for the future Primos Park, a 9-acre park planned along Violet Avenue between Broadway and 19th Street.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The project, <\/strong><strong>formerly known as \u201cViolet Park,<\/strong><strong>\u201d had a preliminary plan with flood mitigation features, pollinator-friendly landscaping and amenities such as play pods, an outdoor pavilion and a small amphitheater.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The open house is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the park site. Visitors can review final design plans, walk through marked project features and speak with city staff. Music and tacos will also be available.<\/p>\n<p>The event marks the completion of the park\u2019s design phase. The project will now move into permitting and construction, with groundbreaking expected in the fall, according to the city\u2019s project webpage.<\/p>\n<h3>Boulder seeks input on services for older adults<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The City of Boulder is hosting a series of conversations throughout June to gather feedback from adults over 60, caregivers and family members about services for older adults and where gaps remain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The discussions will be held in both English and Spanish, online and in person. Light refreshments will be provided at in-person events.
